JNFC Bursary Fund

This fund has been established to provide qualifying students a safe and loving place to live while attending the Children of the Jolly Education Centre (formerly The Jolly Children's Education Centre). The fund will cover living expenses in the school's boarding facility and all educational expenses while the child is attending the CJEC.  The criteria is as follows:

• Abandoned or orphaned children
• Families that are unable to take care of their children and live in very poor conditions
• Abused and/or neglected children

The approximate cost per child per annum is $500CAD. This will cover: medical attention; school supplies; school fees; clothing including uniform, school sweater and shoes; food and shelter.

The fund will be managed jointly by JNFC (Canada) and Action For Children (Uganda) in order to be flexible as the specific needs of children will vary.  This also provides the opportunity for donors to give a one-time donation or on-going monthly donations to support the children.

Our goal is to start the fund with approximately $5000 to assist 10 children.  We hope you can assist us in building a better future for vulnerable children.  Please follow us as we publish additional information, photos and stories about the children.
